Garage Announces Travel Grants for Contemporary Art Triennial

The Garage Museum of Contemporary Art will be providing travel grants for international curators, interested in furthering their understanding of Russian contemporary art, to attend the first Garage Triennial of Russian Contemporary Art. Held at the museum and surrounding Gorky Park from March 10 to May 14, 2017, the exhibition presents works made since 2012, from more than 60 Russian artists.

“The exhibition will capture the zeitgeist of some of the most active and influential figures of the past five years,” according to the Garage website. Open to curators of all ages, from anywhere in the world, the grant covers airfare and four days’ accommodation in Moscow during the Triennial. Apply before Jan. 15, 2017.
